Sorry, the request for presentation proposals for the NDLA conference on February 14-15 is now closed. Presenters will be notified later in December Thanks to all who submitted!
The annual NDLA Conference, Digital Learning: Your Window to the World, is scheduled for February 14-15, 2019 at Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln. The success of the conference depends on those members who take the time to present breakout sessions. Please consider sharing your expertise and complete a Request for Presentation Proposal. Additionally, if you have a colleague doing amazing things with digital learning, feel free to pass this information along to them—we want to hear about it! Requests will be accepted through November 15, 2018 and selected presenters will be notified later in November. See the topics of interest below to help guide your submission.
After a busy and (hopefully) fun summer, it’s time to continue our lifelong mission of learning. With the NDLA Conference dates set for February 14-15, 2019, and the new venue at the Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln, it’s also time to start building the content for that event.
The NDLA Conference Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available in early September, and we will be seeking session proposals on all aspects of Digital Learning, including:
- adaptive learning
- badging and gamification
- blended learning

- mobile learning
- personalized learning
- online learning (or e-learning)
- synchronous distance learning (videoconferencing)
- open educational resources (OERs)
- technology-enhanced teaching and learning
- virtual reality
- augmented reality
- Virtual Field Trips (enrichment programs for the classroom)
Be thinking about your session proposals, and check back for the RFP in early September!
NDLA will now be doing business as the Nebraska Digital Learning Association, as a result of a unanimous vote of the attending membership at the NDLA General meeting on February 23, 2018, in an effort to broaden the membership base and keep up with new technologies, tools, learning styles and digital resources.
Registration for NDLA 2018 is now open! Use the links in the NDLA Conference menu above to find out more, or click here to register!
In October, Governor Pete Ricketts proclaimed November 6-10 as Nebraska Distance Learning Week (#NebDLW), which also coincides with National Distance Learning Week (#NDLW) coordinated by United States Distance Learning Association.
To celebrate #NebDLW, we highlighted Nebraska content providers by and sponsored a Virtual Field Trip Workshop on November 7 (check out the photographs on our Facebook page). We also featured some providers on social media sharing their distance learning opportunities.
Because of recent valuable conversations at iNACOL in Orlando, we have been asked to extend the session submission deadline for the NDLA conference to November 3. Submit here today!
